2010 BMW X6 has some add-ons in its lineup that include super performing M and hybrid sedans in both versions of gas and electric. They are smooth in handling and have a super fast velocity when on road. A negative point is its fuel economy despite of the high speed. It also makes the rear-seats bit uncomfortable without having enough room to adjust easily.

The X-Series has a seating for 4 passengers that is a little bigger than the 5-Series BMW cars. It has an elevated suspension which is same as that of X5 SUV. The usual models of X6 were available in 3 spruces; one having AWD as a standard feature and dual-turbocharged engine. The AWD-35i has 3 liter capacity with 6-cylinder generating 300 horsepower. Similar to the AWD-50i, X6-M has a 555 horsepower V8 engine. For all the gas models, an automatic transmission of 6-speed is available that includes paddles of steering wheel for gear-shifting in manual.

Next in the 2010 BMW X6 lineup is Active-Hybrid model that uses a 2-mode and utilizes 4.4 liter capacity for a V8 engine, having an electric motor generating 480 of horsepower. Both of the fuel sources can be utilized depending upon the driving requirements plus it doesn’t need a plug-in to get charged. A CVT- Continuously Variable Transmission is used in this model that acts similar to the automatic system. It has the hauling power of 6,000 pounds in total.

2010 BMW X6 Series has a standard Dynamic Performance Control that functions along with the AWD control to dispense the torque to both of the rear wheels. It is intended to enhance the performance of steering usage and its handling. The safety features installed are: antiskid system, ABS, traction control, airbags for both front-side and curtain- side. The standard feature in all the BMW series is its iDrive control system that controls the overall entertainment system with a smooth knob. Other features are the communication, navigation and climate control systems that come as a standard. Active Steering is an optional feature in this series; it basically accelerates the steering reaction at low speeds. There is a precise suspension regulation with spruce in X6-M model.
