General Motors released the first images and details of their all-new Chevrolet Orlando minivan, which is set for debut at 2010 Paris Motor Show.

This car has been in the works for many years and they wanted to make sure it can rival mighty European MPVs.So it’s got the same standards as a European MPV! It comes with seven seats, funky design, tons of space inside and small and very efficient engines.

The thing is though, if you want a practical European MPV you get a European MPV and not something that’s trying to be like it! But the Orlando is fine car anyway.

At launch the new Chevy Orlando is available with choice of three engines, including a 1.8 litre petrol with power output of 141 hp and two diesel 2.0 litre units, with outputs of 131hp (low output) or 163 hp (high output). It’ll also get 16, 17 or 18 inch wheels like a sports coupe!

“We’re confident the Orlando not only brings great value for money to the MPV class but also something fresh – function with attitude if you like – and the opportunity for us to continue building our volume across Europe. I believe it will also bring more new customers to the Chevrolet brand.”
