2011 Honda Accord NHTSA Rating

The American equivalent of EuroNcap, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the safety rating for 2011 Honda Accord Sedan, and the car managed to get 5 stars.

That means it has passed all the tests with the maximum possible score, and it also means that the new Accord is a very safe car!

The Japanese sedan has been tested for frontal crash safety, overall side crash safety and rollover resistance, which is a new test NHTSA has come up with. Only six cars were awarded with five stars so far.
