The current Suzuki Swift has earned a reputation as one of the most reasonably priced and yet fabulous hatchbacks in the market. So the new model must be very good to live up to the expectations.

Maybe that’s why Suzuki hasn’t changed its recipe much. The 2011 Swift still comes with pretty much the same design, which is kust slightly revised to look fresh.

But it has become much better in terms of interior and powertrain where it gets new and revised engines that are economical and cleaner.

The car is also grown in size. It’s taller than the current model by 10mm, longer by 90mm and has 50mm more legroom inside the cabin.

As for the engines, there’s a new 1.2-litre petrol engine with Dual Variable intake and exhaust valve timing which geenrates 94 PS and 118 Nm, and averages 56.5mpg. If you want a more economical variant go for the 1.3-litre diesel engine with which does 67.3mpg and has CO2 emissions of 109 g/km.

The new Swift also comes with new equipments, and just by looking at the pictures of the interior you can say it’s much improved in quality as well.
