2011 Volvo V60 Estate

The latest station wagon by Volvo is a bit different than than what you expect a estate Volvo to be! It’s actually pretty sporty.

Volvo says they already have the V70 which is practical and spacious, so with the new V60 which is based on the S60 sedan, they decided to go for a cool and trendy design and focus a bit more on style.

The new Volvo V60 has a lower profile than regular estate cars, and although they are trying to convince you it looks like a four-door coupe, but it’s still very wagonish! Overall, it’s a nice design.

As for the convenience features, there’s 40/20/40-split rear seat and the fold-flat front passenger seat, a 1095 millimetre wide tailgate, with standard load capacity of 430 litre, a new Infotainment system where information with a five-inch or seven-inch colour screen, new top-notch stereo, and…

There’s no shortage of good engine too. You may choose a 1.6-litre GTDi engine with either 150 or 180 hp, or the new four-cylinder 2.0T GTDi with 203 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, or go for the full-fat T6 3.0 litre turbo with 304 hp and 440 Nm of torque. But if diesel is your treat, you may pick one between the 205 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque D5, or 115 bhp and 270 Nm of torque DRIVe edition.
