2012 VW Beetle Teased

Volkswagen revealed the first teaser shot of the next gen 2012 Beetle, which is just a design silhouette, in a very outlandish way.

They went to Oprah Winfrey and asked her, probably while counting huge rolls of money!, to showcase it in her show. But that didn’t stop there.

Oprah also announced she’s going to give (or rather Volkswagen is going to) a brand-new 2012 VW Beetle when it rolled off production line to every one of the audience present at the studio! Many years ago she pulled the same trick for General Motors. She’s becoming a car dealer by the looks of things!

Oh, and the car! Well, nothing’s clear for now but according to VW: The new Beetle will feature a sportier, more aggressive stance, and features sleeker styling and a wealth of new technologies that provide a heightened driving experience. It is also customizable, with options that will offer the performance, styling, accessories and features that will appeal to everyone from the driving enthusiast to the driver motivated by value, excellent fuel economy and nostalgia.
