Navistar was established in1902 by the union of the Deering Harvester Company and the McCormick Harvesting company, who created the Chicago, based Truck Company. Navistar is popular to make trucks although they also manufacture busses, school busses, diesel engines, and chassis for sale at several locations as well.

Harvester and Navistar:

Navistar was previously known as Harvester during its first eighty years but later it became popular with name Navistar which was adopted after the failure of the agricultural market. As a consequence of this failure, company sold its all manufacturing products excluding the engine and truck building. On the other hand, the manufacturing company got into an auditing dispute with their auditors last year, stated they would not be able to file on time and hence finished with getting booted from the NYSE. And this has badly mischief Navistar.

Maxx Force:

Navistar trucks and buses vary in size and shapes. Lately, Navistar has introduced a new line of truck engines named ‘Maxx Force’ which is the brand line of Diesel Engines. The largest engine in this brand line is MaxxForce 13 which is a 13.0L I-6 engine. It is a huge engine and produces a massive amount of horsepower and because of this it is considered as a wonder. For instance, at 475 horsepower this engine can pull 1,700 pounds per foot at nearly 1,000 rpm and it has a direct injection system, and weighs 2.2k pounds alone.
