The latest Bremo GT-R Racing Brakes were unveiled in Las Vegas at the SEMA show of 2009. The most advanced GT-R racing brake kits were available for the top gear cars such as Ferrari, BMW, Porsche and many more in need for the high quality brake system in the market. The F1 racing teams use nickle plating in their cars which have a weight that is 10 % light than the existing brakes of Brembo available. The GT-R brakes give better modulation, are stiffer and braking response is better as compared to the older designs. The better quality of calipers with thermo mechanical resistance and vented piston inserts is a feature of Brembo.

Brembo brake kits originally used to come from Grand Am, JGTC, World Rally, BTTC and ALMS made for the only purpose of custom racing system. The care and maintenance that was required for keeping them in working condition led many car tuning fans turn away from the GT-R kits. The amateur racers were unable to manage the operating temperatures and the ability for measuring caliper temperatures in order to keep the brake system tuned properly. The aim of this latest like of Brembo high performance brakes was for performance at beginner level with the most reliable and strongest plating. An ordinary caliper temperature sticker can monitor the brakes for making sure that the racer has most favorable setup. The brake tuning kits were released in the US by Brembo on 1st January.
