Chevrolet Express 2010


Some of the new upgraded features of the 2500 and 3500 Express models include the introduction of E85 ethanol fuel for an economical consumption and an automatic transmission of six- speed. Exterior structure of the standard Express and GMC Savanna has similarities when it comes to passenger and cargo capacity.

The 2010 Express model has gained more power for its V8 engine. Chevrolet’s Express is not absolutely transformed and is somehow identical to the structure of the previous models. Express is a perfect option to consider for business usage.

Express 1500, 2500, and 3500 comes in two types of wheelbase. The first wheelbase of the Express measures 135 inches. It has the capacity to seat in eight to twelve passengers. The second is offered in a larger wheelbase that measures 155 inches capable of seating 15 passengers. The largest wheelbase is only available in Express 3500. Express is offered in two option packages- LS and LT. The first model, LS, has characteristics like steel wheels 16 or 17 inches in rim, swing door at the back, air conditioning unit, vinyl upholstery, AM/FM audio system, and a theft alarm system. The second model, LT, has a power operated windows and locks, heating and cooling rear air conditioning, cloth upholstery, cruise control, and a keyless entry. Additional equipment for the LT include power in the driver and front seats, sliding door at the side, remote controlled engine start, wheels made of alloy, and an improved sound system.

Express 1500 have a horsepower of 310 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine. It contains an automatic transmission of four- speed and a rear wheel drive. Express also offers an all wheel drive to consumers. The haul capacity of the 1500 engine is up to 6,200 lbs. Fuel mileage runs a mpg of 13 in the city and 17 in highway drive. A combination of highway and city drive totals a mpg of 14. Express 2500 and 2500 is only available in rear wheel drive. It has a horsepower of 323 with a 6-liter eight cylinder engine. Automatic transmission of six- speed is typical in the 2500 and 3500 models. Hauling capacity can reach for up to 9,900 lbs.

Safety equipment of the Express is similar to all production cars which compromise of the antilock brake system, stability control, and side-curtain airbags present in the three seating rows. It achieved a five-star rating in the crash note of frontal impacts.

The interior environment of the Express is not for luxury or decorative purposes but for acquiring tasks. The controls are positioned for the accessibility and comfort of the driver. Express is suitable in road conditions even if it’s towing large and heavy objects because of the V8 engine.
