Electric Mercedes SLS E-Cell

It’s the electric version of Mercedes latest supercar, the SLS AMG, and it delivers the same sort of performance and driving fun while remaining absolutely green.
This car is the first prototype of Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell which is painted in AMG lumilectric magno color. But the actual production version won’t be released until 2013.
This car does not compromise on power. Its all-electric powertrain includes four separate electric motors. There’s two on each of the axles which power its own wheels, so the car is actually four-wheel-drive.
And the output of this system is just amazing, as it delivers 526 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque, resulting in zero to 60mph time of 4 seconds.
