Imagine you just got your brand-new gorgeous Ferrari 458 Italia an you’re driving around your tax heaven with your wife in the passenger seat and a nice tune playing on the stereo. Lovely!
Then all of a sudden you realize the car is smelling funny and you also see some smoke coming out from the back. Next thing yo know, the car is on a massive fire!
This is exactly what happened to a number of Ferrari 458 owners during the past few weeks, and it made Ferrari to issue a recall for all 1,248 units of this car built to date.

The reason for the fire is some rubbish adhesive they’ve used to fix the rear fenders’ heat shield which melts at high temperature and eventually catch fire.
The fix is easy and they will replace these things with a new kind free of charge. Make sure you visit your local dealer ASAP.
