Ford Mustang SYNC AppLink

Ford recently announced the SYNC AppLink with voice command integrated in it for 2012 Ford Fiesta models.

And now they conformed 2011 Mustang as the next model to receive the app. SYNC AppLink integrated with Ford’s optional Voice-Activated Navigation System comes with an 8-inch touch screen for control, and will be installed as a factory-installed feature.

AppLink will  also enable Mustang owners with hands-free voice control of their smartphone apps.


“Mustang is an exciting next addition to the AppLink portfolio, giving Ford the ability to offer more of our customers a smarter solution to using apps while in the car,” said Doug VanDagens, director of Ford Connected Services. “We continue to move quickly and migrate smart technologies across our vehicle portfolio that deliver solutions customers are demanding.”

Mustang’s AppLink was featured at 2011 CES and will be installed on Mustangs to be produced next year.
