It’s important to inflate the tires for various reasons. With depleted tires, driving would be really tough and you won’t be able to enjoy driving like it used to be when the tires were inflated. If you are thinking of inflating the tires, you should read the manual provided by the vehicle manufacturer. In this way you’ll be able to inflate the tires as mentioned by the manufacturer and there won’t be any problems at all. Tools you’ll need: You wills need an air compressor as well as a gauge if you are thinking to inflate the tires of your vehicle. You can attach the gauge to the air compressor. This will help you in getting a more accurate reading. An air compressor will be there at any garage, so if you don’t have it with you, then hit the nearest garage. Steps to inflate tires: Step 1: First of all park your car on a leveled surface. And the reason why we tell you this – is because, in doing so, the hose will be able to reach all the wheels of your vehicle. This should be the first step – it might seem simple, but do not leave this step and start over with other things. Step 2: You may notice that different tires of your vehicle will be with different air pressures. And these would be as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Well, you should have these numbers handy with you before you start the inflating process. These numbers will be there – somewhere near the door jamb or some other place. If you can’t find it, contact the vehicle manufacturer, or seek the help of someone who is experienced in handling stuffs like these. Step 3: You should remove the valve cap which would be there in the inlet and then attach a nozzle to it. When you press it down, you’ll get to know the air pressure through the readings. Step 4: There will be a lever on the nozzle, press it down once. Doing so will help air get inside it. Fill the air then and at the same time keep an eye on the gauge as well – so as to make sure that you don’t fill them more than what is required. Step 5: Inflate the tires, and once you make sure that you have done it the right way, you can replace the valve caps that you had removed earlier.
