When Nissan released their latest Patrol SUV in the Middle East, it was already known that the rebranded version of the Infiniti as 2011 QX56 would be seen at the Auto Show in New York. In addition little imagination was felt from the spy photos. The leaked official images leaked today leave absolutely nothing to the mind.

In spite of what looks like an effort to infuse a blob of FX style to the front end, the 2011 Infiniti QX56 did not leave the strange looking forehead a lot like its forerunners. The light amount of bodywork rising above the headlamps gives a good look. A bright fender vent is added approximate size of Martha Vineyard. While the treatments to the front and rear ends of the Infiniti QX56 are exclusive. The daylight opening and the basic profile are same as the new patrol just like the lavishly appointed interior which appears to change the wheels logos.

Suppose the vehicle classification of the QX56 is already known, consider the same 400 HP, 405 pound foot direct injected V8, 5.6 liter that is a part of the Nissan. Similarly, people expect to see the most, otherwise the similar technical features of the latest Patrol which offers electronic four wheel drive with driver selectable modes, hydraulic anti roll system and its seven speed automatic transmission.

The low res leaked images can be compared with the high res Nissan Patrol set. Complete details of the latest 2011 Infiniti QX56 will be released soon when the preparations for the festivities in New York will commence.
