Mercedes S-Class BlueTEC Diesel Revealed

Mercedes S-Class must have the most complete range of models in the world! You can have it with massively powerful V12 and V8s, normal V6s, and now with a very economical diesel engine.

It’s the new S350 BlueTEC variant, featuring a 3.5 liter V6 diesel with 190 kW (258 hp) with peak torque of 620 Newton metres.

As far as performance matters, this car won’t disappoint at all. Zero to 60 mph is done in 7.1 seconds and it has a limited top speed of 155 mph. But it’s in terms of fuel economy where it really shines.

This big and luxurious S-class has an average fuel consumption of 6.8 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres. And thanks to its innovative AdBlue technology it’s also very very clean and emits just 177 grammes of Co2 per kilometre. That means it covers Euro 6 standards mandatory from 2014.

And like any other S-Class this one too is loaded with great features. You get PASSION leather package and tailor-made Bang & Olufsen BeoSound AMG sound system, as well as new Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist, just to mention a few.
