The 2010 Toyota Prius is still one of the most successful hybrid cars in the market, not because it’s much better than the rest of the pack, but it’s certainly the oldest.

But even this hybrid king needs a refresh to stay in the game, and that’s what Toyota gave it in form of a Safety Pack optional kit.

This kit does not make the car look any better, or go any faster. But it does make it safer! And that’s what people who driver Prius really want. They don’t care about speed and style, they just something clean and safe.

The Safety Pack contains Pre-Crash Safety system, Adaptive Cruise control, Leather upholstery, Dusk-sensing headlights, LED low beam headlights with washers, Electrochromic auto-dimming rear view mirror,  Water-repellent front side window glass.

But it is hugely expensive at £2,975. You can buy another car with that money! One other option is tinted windows which costs £265.
