Peugeot 208 XY

Turns out the GTi is the only hot new Peugeot coming out over the next few months. There is also an XY version coming which is properly hot, albeit for entirely different reasons.

The 208 XY will be a luxuriously appointed model and available in a new colour for the Marque, Purple is one of six colours available. The XY body is punctuated with chromed details, subtle touches of Purple on the Peugeot logos and the central wheel caps. The mirror casings, the fog lamp trims, the window trims and the rear skirt bead are dressed in bright chrome. It looks quite cool and sexy today, but it’s a fashion statement, which might go out of fashion next month or week or year.

The XY will be available with the full range of engines, apart from the 200bhp unit of the GTi, and gets all the gadgets and toys you would desire to have in your hatchback.
