To fill the gap between the normal 911 Carrera and the track-focused 911 GT3, Porsche has made a new model called the 911 GTS. Now that makes it even harder to understand the 911 range!

The car slots perfect;y between those two in terms of performance, power, design and price.

It comes with a tuned version of the 3.8 liter straight-six engine of the Carrera S which now develops 408 hp and 420 Nm of torque. It’s only 0.1 second faster to 60 mph than the normal model and has a top speed of 190 mph. It comes as standard with a manual box but you can order the PDK as well.

With the seven-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe, the 911 GTS will do 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

As for the design, the GTS gets the 4mm wider rear-end of the Carrera 4 and feature a few gloss black aero parts at front and rear, but on the whole it’s really hard to tell it apart from the Carrera S if you don’t notice the GTS decals on the body or the 19-inch centre-locking RS Spyder alloy wheels.

So if you are bored with the normal 911 but still don’t wanna let go of its love, then get the GTS. its new features will keep you amused for a while! It is priced from £76,758 (104,935 euros) for the Coupe and £83,493 (115,050 euros) for the Cabriolet.
