The latest offerings from the Ford and Harley-Davidson joint effort is the new 2011 model of the F-150 Harley-Davidson. Just as with the previous models before, this new model has been treated to a nice lot of alterations to the exterior and interior of this vehicle. The most interesting news to have been announced for the brand new 2011 model of the F-150 Harley-Davidson, is that it’s will be the second F-150 vehicle to receive the powerful V8 6.2 liter engine. Being installed with this new engine, the new vehicle manages to match the output of the F-150 SVT Raptor 6.2; which is an impressive 411 horsepower with 434 pound-foot of torque, just like previous F-150 models, the exhaust has been designed in a way to produce more of a roar. The standard transmission is a 6 speed automatic, although there is a manual transmission option made available. The main body work for the new 2011 model F-150 Harley-Davidson, adorns either silver or black paint, whilst the headlights are trimmed in black and a 6 bar grille in a billet-style adorns the front fascia. This new model is equipped with some mighty 22 inch wheels that sport a stain finish to them. Available as standard for this new 2011 model is a power sunroof and power-deployable running boards. Not surprisingly the overall design of the interior hasn’t been vastly altered from the previous full specification F-150 model. Coming as standard is black leather upholstery throughout, while the seats and the center armrest also wear the Harley-Davidson badges, which also indicate the production number and the VIN of the truck. Other standard features that are available for the new 2011 model are heated rear seats, remote start, ambient lighting, a navigation system, and a 4.2 inch LCD display integrated within the instrument cluster. A rear-view camera is also incorporated again in this new model, which can be very useful when attaching a trailer to the rear. Considering this new model doesn’t ride on lowered suspension anymore, the trailer is able to store more weight than before. This new model is capable of towing around an incredible 9,300 pound. This is an improvement from the previous model as it suffered from a low towing capacity, this is surely appreciated for correcting this minor fault from the previous model. Although the overall pricing of the new model has been fully finalized as of yet, but judging from previous models it’s safe to assure that Harley-Davidson fans will probably have to exchange $50,000 for one of these beauties.
