Lexus was one of the first manufacturers to offer a hybrid variant of a luxury saloon by introducing the GS and LS hybrids. So they have developed a kind of expertize in this field.

And that shows with the new 2010 GS 450h which has been updated fro the hybrid-loving British market.

The powertrain remains the same as before consisting of a 3.5 liter V6 engine and a 650V electric motor, but the car gets some visual tweaks as well as upgraded equipments.

The new Lexus GS hybrid comes with a new chrome front grille with horizontal bars, new hybrid-blue lights, plus 17 and 18-inch wheels (based on the trim level). Models which get 18-inch wheels also get parking sensors.

The most significant upgrades for the new model include a revised version of the Pre-Crash safety system, which now has integrated pre-crash brake technology, and the enw 40 GB HDD based navigation system with full coverage of European countries. Yo also have 10 GB storage space fro your tracks which can be played through a 10-speaker Lexus premium stereo or a 14-speaker Mark Levinson system.
