BMW officials have gave the green light to the new M3 GTS to go on sale.

This limited edition car gets a price tag of €136.850 for the German market. But what the GTS delivers that it’s so expensive?!

Well, in essence the GTS is a track-focused version of the ordinary M3 which has been lightened, mostly by stripping sway all the equipments, stiffened up and given more power.

The standard 4.0 liter V8 of the M3 has been re-engineered for the GTS and is drilled again to 4.3 liters. Many of its parts are replaced with high performance racing-derived ones. AS a result it now develops 331 kW/450 bhp instead of 309 kW/420 bhp. The torque is also increased by 40 Nm, now peaking at 440 Nm.

This engine is mated to a tweaked 7-speed dual-clutch SMG gearbox and enables the car to go from zero to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h.

The car also gets re-tuned electronics and chassis setting, plus tweaked suspension and an aerokit with front spoiler and a huge rear wing. This car is really designed to tear up the race tracks just like its predecessors.
