2010 Lexus IS-F proves to be a completely different version as compared to its IS 350 family model, having unique facilities. We can call IS 350 as E-1 Marine Corps version and IS-F as E-6 version of Staff Sergeant. Lexus IS-F is equipped with the lesser front air barrier, a sports suspension that is F-tuned and has fake aluminum alloy helms of 19-inch that are covered in front with the 225/40R19; type Bridgestone Potenza tires-RE050A and at the rear with 255/35R19. The posture of the car gives a meaner look due to the lesser front air barrier with higher aerodynamics.
An interesting thing about 2010 Lexus IS-F model is that at its rear the square exhaust tips are not fixed with the exhaust system; making it hard to tell that from where the exhaust noise is coming. The exhaust noise of the car sounds brawny having a low groan. This is unlike BMW- E92 M3 and Mercedes Benz model C63 AMG as the IS-F model does not produces sufficient torque from its engine.

In 2010 Lexus IS-F, the hum of 414 horsepower generated from the of 305-307ci V8 engine is not really obvious when you turn on the ignition for the first time with a cold engine. Or we can say that the car’s engine is not as good in response as the sturdy M3 or C63. When discussing its performance off the records; the Lexus must have worked more on it when it was set opposite to the German cars in competition. As 2010 Lexus IS-F has a 5 liter fuel capacity and V8 engine producing 414 horsepower, it is same in power as that of M3 model but with 1 liter less travel than Lexus. IS-F has a torque of 371 lb-ft with an average velocity being a sports car, along with 0-60mph displacement in 4.5 seconds and at 110 mph the quarter-mile time of 13.5 seconds.

2010 Lexus IS-F has remarkable brake system due to the Brembo calipers with 6-piston grabbing 14.2” rotors at the front and calipers with 2-piston gripping 13.6” rotors at the back. It takes it 110 feet to stop from 60 mph when compared to M3 that took 10 feet shorter to get stopped.

The interior of 2010 Lexus IS-F has impressive features when you step into it. It comes with standard leather seats that are very stiff but are attached with the bolsters at the sides. The problem with this car is with its middle seat at the back, which can accommodate only two people instead of three like IS 350 model. The consoles at the middle and the dash are made with superior aluminum trim, but one thing that looks bit over in this car is the F-logo seen almost everywhere in the car.

2010 Lexus IS-F model for both short-drive and a long-drive gives an uncomfortable feel, also at the high acceleration, when compared to the German cars. This car has made somewhat under-turn at the stiff corners and the steering is very spongy to handle when you wish to change the lanes from left to right or vice versa. Besides everything 2010 Lexus IS-F is still a fabulous car and gives an enjoyable drive on road. Hopefully, the Lexus GS-F model will have the same fun drive as that of Lexus IS-F.
