Each decade, Lamborghini introduces its new version of a supercar that defies the other in league. The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago is no different in its superiority. Even though the name of this new version is not made official yet, speculations are that it would be named after a fighting bull as has been the tradition with all Lamborghini car names.

The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago comes in with a V12 engine and an increased fuel capacity by 7 liters. This will result in the power enhancements up to 700 bhp for the basic model. The body is said to be made out of carbon fiber that will be tugged to a composite chassis of carbon composite. The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago is set to be a 4 wheel drive system and the carbon fiber body will ensure a light weighed car. Power will be injected in the engine via a direct injection, pumping the vehicle at 700 bhp enabling to speeds over of 300 kilometers per hour. The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago will be ready to go from 0 kmph to 100 kmph in just about 3 seconds.

Although there have been speculations that the body of the 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago may pick up inspiration from Reventon, the underlying chassis is set to display a typical Lamborghini display. Although the length of the car is set to be a little lesser than the original 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago, the new version will have the scissor doors absent in order to compensate for weight loss. The overall mass of the car is expected to be at 1500 kg with the door opening styles considered a bit different, first opening outwards and then elevating from their normal level. The new Lamborghini Murcielago will have a wider wheel base of 21 inch and the brake system will be incarnated to Brembo carbon-ceramic.
