The latest edition of Buick LaCrosse will captivate the consumer’s interest because of its new and upgraded features. The four-door vehicle has three option packages which includes the CX, CXL, and CXS. The wheelbase of LaCrosse measure 1 inch and is shorter compared to the previous models from the year 2005 to 2009.  The first model, CX, has a horsepower of 182 with a 2.4 litre four-cylinder engine and another comes with a horsepower of 255 with a 3 litre six-cylinder engine. The second model, CXL, has a 3 litre six-cylinder engine. The third model, CXS, has a horsepower of 280 with a 3.6 litre six-cylinder engine. The vehicle packages use a six speed automatic transmission. LaCrosse offers an all wheel drive to CXL V6 engine model only. It is not yet possible to other models like the CX and CXS. Protection gears available for LaCrosse are dual front airbags, front side airbags, curtain airbags, antilock brake system, brake assist, antiskid system, tire pressure monitor, and daytime lights. Other optional package includes the blind spot alert that function to keep the driver aware about other vehicles within the nearby distance of the car by using sensor lights. The typical CXL is furnished with leather covering while the CXS model has a standard cooling and heating system in the front seats.

Other added convenience and comfort of the car include an automatic climate control, rear view camera, interior air filter, DVD, complete audio set, navigation system, power operated windows, operated door locks, remote keyless entry, compass, and automatic headlights.

Power in the 3 litre V6 engine of the CX and CXL models is average. Too much effort is exerted by the driver in an all wheel drive mode when passing through cars. The all wheel drive CXL runs an average mpg of 17 when driven in the city. The CXS model runs an average mpg of 26.4 in city and highway driving. Regular type of fuel is used for LaCrosse to function.

The quality of ride in CX models is credible enough for minor uneven surfaces of the road. The CXL and CXS models ride quality in the road is more improved. For an athletic touch in your LaCrosse, you can opt to purchase the Touring Package only offered in CXS models. The disadvantage of the Touring Package is the loud rumble of the tires. There is usually minimal noise heard inside in LaCrosse’s standard cars.

The best feature of the interior condition of LaCrosse is its compartment. Quality materials were used to create a perfect touch in the design. The cloth upholstery is low in texture quality. The car is spacious and can fit a six feet tall passenger.

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse can be purchased for an average amount of $26, 245.
