Chevrolet Spark Art Car Brings Back The Wood Look

Reminiscing about the good old days, Chevrolet has prepared a one-off show car for their European ‘Art Spark’ tour which features wood-look vinyls on doors and side panels, just like classic Chevys.

The thing is, they have given this treatment to the little Spark hatchback, which has nothing in common with Chevrolet’s traditional qualities.

The Spark Woody Wagon recalls the dawn of the surf movement in the USA, when, in the late Fifties and early Sixties, surfers bought ‘Woodies’. These were traditionally large estate cars based on mainstream models, but with timber framed bodywork, as they were both cheap and spacious enough to carry their boards and equipment.

They have used a a three-quarter vinyl body wrap provided by Pyramid Visuals of Weybridge for this car, but if you like it and want to apply it on your car, that’s going to be a problem because it’s a one-off show car. But you can visit Paris Auto Salon and see the car close up if you really like it.
