Fiat takes the efficiency to the next level by introducing the new type of TwinAir engines which only have two cylinders!

This 900cc engine is first used in Fiat 500 and 500C, and despite the microscopic size it’s good on power with 85 hp and 145 Nm of torque.

Since as this engine is all about economy, it’s been fitted with start/stop system as standard. This system shots the engine down automatically when the car is stationary, say behind a red light, and then restarts it when you release the brakes or touch the throttle.

Other features include small turbines and 8 injections per cycle. As a result, Fiat 500 TwinAir has an average fuel consumption of 4.1 l/100 km (4.0 with manual gearbox) and Co2 emissions of 92 g/km with a Dualogic robotised gearbox (95 for the manual).

And if your asking about performance, 0 to 100 km/h takes 11 seconds and it has top speed is 173 km/h.
