Nissan Leaf Priced Under 30,000 Euros

The world’s first all-electric and zero-emission family car is about to go on sale in Europe. We are talking about the new Nissan Leaf EV which will hit the markets from July.

Initially the car will be launched in the UK, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland and Portugal.

The car is priced form 25,641 Pounds and its standard equipments include air conditioning, satellite navigation, a parking camera, a quick charge socket and innovative smart-phone connectivity. This five-passenger EV offers literally the same value as a diesel or hybrid equivalent.

In Britain the car will go on sale in February 2011 starting form 28,350 Pounds. Since it’s a zero-emission electric car, it qualifies for the   25 percent refund of the purchase price of a pure electric vehicle, up to a limit of 5,000 Pounds.

The car’s MSRP in other markets is as follows: 32,839 Euros in Netherlands, 29,995 Euros in the Republic of Ireland, and 29,955 Euros in Portugal.
