Subaru Impreza STi CS400 by Cosworth

Subaru UK and Cosworth finally revealed their limited edition ultra-hot Subaru Impreza CS400, specially developed for the British market.

This is an Impreza unplugged! Cosworth has put its best efforts into making a historic car, and by the looks of things they’ve managed to to that.

It comes with a modified version of STi’s turbocharged flat-4 engine which has been given new compressors, head gasket, pistons, intercoolers, air intakes and a bespoke titanium exhaust system. The result is an impressive 400 hp and 540 nm of torque.

That much power in a hatchback is a recipe for chaos, as it can do o to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 155 mph. But Cosworth has tamed the beast by upgrading its chassis ans suspension settings.

The car has been lowered and stiffened by using suspension components from Eibach and Bilstein. The brakes are also replaced with AP-racing system which comes with six-pot callipers and 355mm discs at the front.

The CS400, which is limited to just 75 units, also gets a nice body kit with special body colors, Recaro seats, piano black trimming and 18-inch wheels. Pricing for this model starts from around 50,000 Pounds.
