2011 Hennessey Venom GT

The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is packed with performance. After a long awaited concept, the car has finally come close in real life. The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is based on the concept of Lotus Elise which substitutes the powerplant for a Corvette ZR1 and supercharged V8 engine boasting 725 bhp. All this combined together makes it one of the fastest cars on road. Due to the power packed performance, this 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is set to lead the cars in its class and is estimated to zoom from 0 to 60mph in just about 2.4 secs. If you need to speed up the car to 100 mph from start, you need to wait for a mere 5.3 secs and then can soar up to 262 mph.

The power on the 2011 Hennessey Venom GT will be managed by a programmable traction control system. Due to its curvy aerodynamic design and the down force of the car will enable it to stay stable when soaring at maximum speeds. The adjustable suspension system will provide flexibility in adjusting the ground clearance depending on the road and speed that the car is driven on.

The car is estimated to weigh at 2400 lbs and incorporates a Ricardo six-speed transmission and is controlled by the Brembo brakes that enables turning of the rear wheels. The car will be available both, at 1000hp and 1200hp versions although the number of units manufactured each year will be limited to only 10. The lightweight carbon body frame will help in reducing the overall weight of the car even more along with the carbon fiber wheels for safe drives at higher speeds. Those privileged enough to buy this car will also be given a 1 day orientation by Hennessey Venom GT test drivers.
