The new addition to the range of new Kia Optima is the hybrid model.
This fabulous Korean sedan offers very great qualities at an unbeatable base price of just $19,000. The Hybrid models has the same features, plus fuel economy of 40 mpg.
It has a sophisticated hybrid system with a 2.4-litre petrol engine plus 30 kW electric motor, which enables it to go from 0 to 62 mph in 9.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 121 mph. Not exactly great, but it’s an eco-minded car anyway.

The Hybrid Optima’s powertrain has a total output of 209 ps and 265 Nm. It can be operated in zero-tailpipe-emissions, full-electric drive mode from standstill up to 62 mph.
Standard features of the car on the base model include such as six-way adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support, illuminated vanity mirrors and a trip computer further expand the cabin’s luxurious qualities. In addition to offering a comfortable cabin, impressive technology features also come standard throughout, including a Sat-Nav CD/Audio system.
