Nissan has already refreshed the Murano in Europe by giving it a new grille and bumper and a new diesel engine.
But for America, while they don’t offer the diesel option, they offer a new look for the car. Well, it’s not a full facelift, but for those familiar with the old one, the changes are quite nice.
The new design Murano comes with refreshed grille and bumper design, new taillights, a new 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design. Nissan Murano’s rear end features a unique rear glass shape, integrated rear roof spoiler, large redesigned rear LED taillights and dual exhaust outlets with chrome finishers.

The car is still powered y the same VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 developing 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque and gets the same intelligent CVT gearbox. And that’s good actually because it’s a good combination. The new suspension system with dual flow path shock absorbers and a twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system, promise an even greater ride quality than before.

Some of the new items available for the 2011 Murano’s interior include dual panel power sliding glass moonroof with 2nd row skylight, wood and aluminum accents, a 60/40 fold-flat rear seat with power return, heated front and rear seats, power liftgate and RearView Monitor.
