Audi A1 European Pricing


The new Audi A1 at first was supposed to be a Europe-only car, but it received a warm welcome everywhere it went so Audi has now plans to also offer it in American and Asia-Pacific markets as well.

The produciton plan for this trendy little car is 100,000 units per year, and by the end of 2010, 50,000 units of it must be delivered. It first launches in Germany, and then gradually reach other markets as well. UK deliveries will arrive in November.

At launch the Audi A1 will be available with three engines including the 1.2 TFSI, the 1.4 TFSI and the 1.6 TDI. Each engine features direct injection, turbocharging and a start-stop system with braking energy recovery.

As for the pricing, it starts from €15,800 (£13,145 in UK) and it goes up to €23,00.

“Reports from our international dealers show us that interest in the A1 is exceeding our expectations considerably,” commented Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at AUDI AG. “We will therefore increase our production capacity by 20 percent.”
