Bentley Launches Online Magazine


Bentley goes on step further than selling branded merchandise and offers an exclusive magazine now online.

It’s not your typical car makers magazine, full of related news and stuff. It also features tons and tons of advertisements. But you can view it or download it free of charge, which is nice. Bentley magazine, the quarterly glossy magazine distributed to 48,000 owners and readers around the world. (http://www.bentleymedia.com/digital-edition/magazine/40/)

Bentley Magazine will be read globally, now that most of their sales come from half a world away. Bentley has made a strong start to 2012 with a year-on-year global sales increase of 47% and 894 cars delivered to customers. In China sales were up 66% with 324 cars delivered whilst in the US we delivered 251 cars.

Highlights of the new issue include:

Star of the show: at the recent Geneva Salon d’Auto all the talk was of Bentley’s EXP 9 F, a concept SUV inspired by the power of the world’s fastest creature, the falcon. A car that could take Bentley to new heights, the concept SUV marks a historic moment in the development of the marque. Julia Marozzi traces the development of this powerful vision.

Rioja with a roar: the new Bentley 4.0 litre V8 model Continental GT and GTC took to the roads and track around Spain’s famous northern wine-growing region. The spine-tingling soundtrack of the new V8 engine accompanied John Studd as he sped round the Navarra Circuit racetrack and threaded their way back to the renowned Frank Gehry-designed Marques de Riscal hotel.

Penny Stephens, aviation services entrepreneur and (highly) determined Bentley driver, tells Nick Foulkes what makes Bentley so special.

The new timelords; Simon de Burton takes a walk on the horological wild side with a wave of technologically radical watches designed to appeal to intrepid travellers and adventurous collectors.

On the Road: Avis Cardella talks to New Zealander Nicky Tripp, whose 4 and a half-litre Bentley has been in the family for more than 80 years – and it’s still going strong.
